If you prefer to glide on one board instead of two

The snowboards from Bründl Sports are especially suitable for beginners and advanced skiers who want to conjure up cool turns on the snowy slopes. The specialized rental boards & bindings from Burton withstand greater loads thanks to their sturdier, more robust design.

Even for more sporty riders, there is a small but fine assortment of high-quality boards available at the rental shop in Kaprun. Want to trade in the slopes for fresh powder snow? Then rent your own freeride board.

Which snowboard is right for you

Which snowboard is right for you?

At Bründl Sports, beginners and intermediate riders will get the most out of the rental boards.

To cater to individual preferences, the snowboards are available in every length and two different types.

Boards with a softer flex (Rocker) are easier to ride due to their flexibility and are forgiving of minor mistakes. This makes them ideal for those just learning their first turns.

Boards with a stiffer flex (Camber) excel in stability and smoothness, offering better support at higher speeds, making them more suitable for advanced riders.

At our flagship store in Kaprun, around 15 test snowboards are available, specifically designed for experienced and confident riders looking for a more sporty and secure ride.

Goofy or regular?

The question of foot stance on the board is one of the first and most important decisions beginners should make.

If your right foot is forward, it's called "Goofy." If your left foot is forward, it's known as "Regular." This information is crucial for the service team in the shop to set up the board to fit you perfectly. If you're unsure which foot is dominant when renting a snowboard, we have a simple trick to help you find out.

Our service team will give you a gentle push. The foot you use to catch yourself is typically the stronger one. This foot should be placed at the back of the board for better control and maximum power transfer.
