Stable and flexible – the right ski boots for you

Choosing the right ski boots is essential to power transfer during skiing, as they act as a direct connection between the body, the skis and the slopes. With models from the brands Atomic, Rossignol, Salomon & Nordica – and Dalbello for children – there is a wide selection to choose from.

The key factor when it comes to picking the right ski boots is the flex, which indicates the stiffness of the shoe. In other words, the greater the flex, the harder the shoe. With a flex of 70-80 for beginners and 110-130 for professionals, Bründl Sports has something for skiers of all abilities.

Wie finde ich den passenden Skischuh?

Die perfekten Skischuhe finden

Anyone who knows the difference between a tight ski boot and a perfectly fitting pair understands the value of our team's service.

Our expert rental team takes the time to perfectly adjust your ski boots to your specific needs.

Here’s how we help you find the right ski boot:

  • Measuring your exact shoe size with a caliper
  • Identifying the suitable models
  • Trying on different ski boots

It’s essential not to try on the ski boots only while sitting, as your feet take a different position in the boots. If you bend your knees while standing, and your toes don’t touch the tip of the boots in this classic ski position, the size is ideal.

If the boot still doesn't fit perfectly, we also offer insoles in the shop to prevent pressure points or burning soles.

What should you pay attention to when renting ski boots?

Even when you’ve found the perfect ski boot, small oversights can quickly make wearing them uncomfortable.

To help you avoid this, here are a few tips and tricks to prevent pressure points:

  • Ski socks should always be pulled up over your calf and above the boot edge to avoid pressure spots and friction.
  • Oversized socks or tucking your pants into your boots can also cause discomfort, so avoid these.
  • Additionally, we recommend only fastening your ski boots after getting off the gondola and loosening them immediately after your run to relieve pressure.

These simple steps can make a big difference in your comfort on the slopes.
