In my previous jobs, I had to really work. Everything was very structured, full of rules, and at some time I reached the point where I couldn't continue. Then I came to Bründl and suddenly everything was different. Even just interacting with each other and people's attitudes: we hug each other and use the familiar form of address. On the second day, I left my suit in the wardrobe and went to work in a polo shirt. I had to get used to this casualness at first. And to the fact that you're allowed to make mistakes sometimes.
You're always learning for life, not just in further training. I'm certainly not so fixated on numbers as I used to be. I have become more understanding and sensitive – and a more open person. I haven't regretted the decision to turn my back on Salzburg for a second.
