The taskforce is made up of sustainability-scouts who have made it their mission to work together to create and advance sustainability initiatives in the company. They also work to inspire the people around them to anchor sustainability principles in their everyday business.

Someone who is very familiar with the Bründl Sustainability Commitment is our valued Sustainability and Reporting Coordinator, Quinten Grimm. Today, he’s explaining a few details about Bründl´s ESG-goals – our overarching guide to creating lasting sustainability at Bründl Sports.

The rental business has been a big part of our corporate philosophy since the very beginning of Bründl Sports’ existence back in 1956.
Hans Bründl realized that he could bring the joys of skiing to even more people without them having to actually buy ski equipment of their own.

Did you know that the transformation of a linear economy to a circular economy is one of the essential factors for meeting the UN’s climate and sustainable development goals?

In that regard, the idea of renting out skiing and biking equipment, and even clothing, plays a significant role. That said, Bründl Sports has committed itself to focusing on this topic within the context of a comprehensive sustainability strategy. 

Twenty-four scouts from all sections of the company – one mission: to integrate the Bründl Sports sustainability vision (bruendl.at/b-green) into life in the company and move it forwards. To make a contribution together and assume responsibility – everyone, everywhere: That’s the motto of the Task Force and Sustainability Manager Angelika Duckenfield. We spoke to Angelika.

Here at Bründl Sports, we are 100% committed to a holistic, integrated sustainability strategy in everything we do. Which means, we don’t have a separate “department of sustainability”. Instead, sustainability is pursued actively in all of our departments. All employees are affected by and involved in the process.
