Wings For Life Worldrun 2022
For the fourth time already, Team Bründl's motto was "Running together for those who can't!"
More than 130 runners started for Team Bründl Sports at the Wings for Life Worldrun on May 8, 2022. Together with a total of 161,892 participants from 192 nations, they ran at the same time all over the world - and for a good cause. They ran as long and as far as possible until they were caught up by the Catcher Car. Wheelchair users, amateur runners and top athletes ran, rolled or walked side by side for those who were unable to do so themselves, thus raising 4.7 million euros for spinal cord research.
In total, Team Bründl Sports ran 1,717 kilometers and achieved a great 33rd place in the global ranking.
In addition to the EUR 4,263.20 that came in in entry fees and donations, we were able to add another EUR 2,000.00 in donations thanks to the 1,717 kilometers run.
100% of the entry fees and of course also 100% of the donations go to the Wings for Life Foundation, i.e. directly to spinal cord research, and help to cure paraplegia.
