What can YOU expect?
Two eventful days on the mountain with the best opportunity to test the latest ATOMIC touring skis and bindings from the 25/26 collection. ORTOVOX will take care of your safety and equip you with avalanche equipment for the entire weekend, including the new AVABAG LiTRIC electronic avalanche backpack.
Your prize also includes two nights at the Kürsinger Hütte including half board (excluding drinks). On Friday you strap your skis on your back and cycle with the e-bikes towards Obersulzbachtal to the bike depot. From there it's about 1,000 metres uphill to the Kürsinger Hütte. Depending on the weather and avalanche situation, you will climb the Großvenediger with two state-certified mountain guides on Saturday and then go on a more leisurely tour on Sunday to round off the weekend.
The motto of the days is ‘Magic Moments’ and ‘Safe on the mountain’. Our mountain guides will give you practical tips and tricks on how to move safely in open terrain, how to assess the avalanche situation on site using the avalanche report and which ascent and descent route you should choose.
ORTOVOX will provide you with the complete ORTOVOX safety equipment on loan for these days: Avalanche transceiver, shovel, probe and an AVABAG LiTRIC rucksack, which you can test extensively on both days.
ATOMIC will provide you with the latest touring skis and bindings from the 25/26 collection on loan for two days, suitable for all conditions and the best ascent and descent performance on the mountain.
If you don't own an e-bike, Bründl Sports will provide you with a suitable rental bike for the event.
What do you need to bring?
You will be travelling in open, alpine terrain. Safe handling of your ski touring equipment and a fitness level of approx. 5 hours walking time or approx. 1,500 metres in ascent and descent is a prerequisite. You should also be able to ski safely in all types of snow and on slopes with 30-35 degrees. Overnight luggage and ski touring equipment must be carried on arrival and departure.
When?
The weekend takes place from 25-27 April 2025. Depending on the weather and avalanche conditions, it will be decided whether the tour to the Großvenediger is possible. Otherwise an alternative tour will be planned.
Where?
The meeting point is Friday morning in our flagship store in Kaprun. Pssst... here you will find the biggest product selection of ATOMIC and ORTOVOX Bründl has to offer!
After the Meet & Greet you will then receive your test equipment from ORTOVOX and ATOMIC as well as rental e-bikes from Bründl Sports. The equipment will be perfectly adapted to you and then you will ride together to the car park in Neukirchen. From there, it's a 1-hour bike tour to the bike depot and the ascent to the Kürsinger Hütte with a walking time of around 4 hours and 1000 metres of ascent. The evening ends with a cosy dinner and a briefing on equipment and avalanches. On Saturday you will then climb the Großvenediger and on Sunday a leisurely tour to the surrounding peaks of the Kürsinger Hütte awaits you as a finale.

- Hut sleeping bag for the night
- Change of underwear
- Sufficient food (muesli bar, banana, tea, juice, etc.)

3 x 2 people can win two overnight stays at the Kürsinger Hütte including half board from 25.04.-27.04.24 and a two-day ski tour to the Großvenediger and nearby peaks with state-certified mountain guides and rental test equipment from ORTOVOX and ATOMIC. If needed, Bründl Sports will provide you with a rental E-Bike.

Participation conditions for prize contest "bründlFANSontour"
The competition "bründlFANSontour" is organized by Sport Bründl Gesellschaft m.b.H., Nikolaus-Gassner-Straße 4, 5710 Kaprun.
The competition will take place from 03.01. - 10.01.2025. To take part in the competition, participants must answer the competition question on bruendl.at correctly. One entry per person is possible.
Participation in the competition is free of charge and independent of the purchase of goods.
The prize draw is a skitour weekend at the Kürsinger Hütte with ascent to the Grossvenediger with Bründl Sports and its partners Ortovox and Atomic. 3 x 2 people can climb on touring skis to the Grossvenediger and other peaks depending on weather with two certified mountain guides. Included are two overnight stays at the Kürsinger Hut including half board (excl. beverages). Ortovox provides avalanche transceiver, shovel, probe and an AVABAG LiTRIC and Atomic touring skis incl. touring bindings on loan free of charge. If needed, Bründl Sports provides the winner with a free rental E-Bike for the duration of the trip. The weekend takes place from 25. to 27.04.2025. In the event of bad weather or poor conditions, the tour planning will be adjusted.
Minimum requirement: 5 hours of fitness, approx. 1,500 m ascent and descent, safe skiing in all types of snow and 30-35 degree descent should be mastered.

The winners will be selected at random by the organizer from all correct answers and complete registrations.
The draw and drawing of all winners will take place on 13.01.2025. The winners will be notified by email within 1 working day of the draw. If the winner does not respond within 5 days of receiving notification of the prize, the prize will be forfeited without substitution and a replacement winner will be drawn.
Persons over the age of 16 are eligible to participate. Employees of Sport Bründl Gesellschaft m.b.H and their family members are excluded from participation.
No cash redemption and no transfer of prizes possible. Legal recourse is excluded. The organizer reserves the right to exclude participants from the competition or to cancel and reclaim a prize without substitution if the competition is influenced or attempted to be influenced by unfair means (e.g. incorrect, incomplete, misleading information or multiple entries, unless this is permitted separately). The participant shall have no claims against the organizer as a result.
The place of jurisdiction is Salzburg, as far as legally permissible. Austrian law shall apply.
Should individual provisions of the conditions of participation be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining conditions of participation shall remain unaffected. They shall be replaced by an appropriate provision that comes closest to the economic purpose of the invalid provision.
The organizer reserves the right to change the conditions of participation at any time or to interrupt or terminate the competition or the draw in whole or in part for good cause without prior notice (e.g. in the event of technical errors, misuse).
Data protection:
The personal data voluntarily provided by participants when answering the questions (title, first name and surname, email address, telephone number) will be processed for the purposes of running the competition, notifying the winner and delivering the prize.
Photos will be taken during the excursion. After the event, participants will receive a link to the photos as a souvenir. The photos will also be taken for internal documentation and reporting purposes. These photos and the first names of the winners as well as details of the experience days will be published on the website of the organizer, Ortovox and Atomic, as well as on the social media channels Instagram and Facebook in the course of reporting on the competition and the redemption of the prize. The organizer has a legitimate interest in the processing of the data for this purpose within the meaning of Art 6 para 1 lit f GDPR. Should other data of the participant be used in addition to the photographs and the first name, this will only be done with the separate consent of the participant.
